The first principle of the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is that we will covenant to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We believe that this principle impels us to protect the privacy of visitors to the UUCSF website.
We only collect personal information from our visitors on a voluntary basis. Personal information from members is stored in a member only web site that requires registration and proof of membership. This information includes name, address, phone number, or email address.
We do not sell or rent this personal information to other organizations. However, website users should be aware that posting to the website's various bulletin boards may result in their name and email address being acquired by other parties. Bulletin board posts may also be accessed as the result of a web search. UUCSF also cannot prevent this from happening.
A "cookie" is a small piece of data sent to your web browser to store information from a web site. No cookies are used to collect personal information or identify a visitor to this site. Cookies are used by our web server for only two purposes:
1. To count the number of unique visitors to our site.
2. To record a session security code for members who use the private portion of our site. These cookies are erased when the browser session is closed.

UUCSF does not control such web sites and is not responsible for their contents. The inclusion of hyperlinks to other web sites does not imply any endorsement of the material on these Web sites or any association with their operators.
