Become Involved. Pursue your Interests. Share Your Talents.
Generally, the more involved people become in the life and activities of UUCSF, the richer their experience. But finding a way "in" can sometimes be difficult, especially if you don't know many people. One way to get involved and be of service is to share your special talents and interests.
With that in mind, won't you please take a few minutes to let us know something about you and the kinds of activities you're interested in? The information that you enter here will be for church community use only, and your privacy will be respected.
Use our Interest and Talents Form to let us know what you might like to do here at UUCSF. Return the printed form to the office. You will soon be contacted so you may get involved in the programs of your choice.
Getting Involved Now:

Join the Membership Committee!
The Membership Committee is now recruiting new faces to join them in their mission of making UUCSF a hospitable place for both guests and members. We are looking for creative, personable, and energetic people to help out in several areas, from party planning to making connections with new people. Please join us—the more the merrier! Contact Cynthia Kelley if you can help: okiemsw@hotmail.com
Share Your Smile On Sunday Mornings: Greeters Needed!
We are looking for greeters to fill spots for Winter/Spring, Summer and Fall/Winter. Greeting is a great way to meet new people and get acquainted with the congregation. Greeters arrive 15-20 minutes before the service and are asked to work one service each month. Contact the UUCSF office if you can help: admin@uusantafe.org or 982-9674 ext. 14. –Danielle Jimenez, Admin. Assistant
Join the Super Sunday Support team!
A list is now posted on the bulletin board across from the Coat Room so you can see the schedule of ushers and chair setters for each Sunday. If you see a blank spot, that means we need someone for that Sunday, and I'd be delighted if you'd put your name there and let me know you've got it covered! Karen McGrath, Team Leader
Grounds Group
Grounds Group is Coming Alive: Though it's early for a regular grounds work session, grounds planning for 2012 is well in progress. Several meetings are planned to establish a long-term vision for the grounds, and to work on priorities for this year's suggested projects.
Now is the time for all of you to consider a new or renewed involvement in the monthly labor effort, which can surely use more people. And if you would like to hear more about the planned meetings, please contact the Grounds Group Chair, Natalie Delvaille at ngdeldorado@msn.com
Grounds Work Special Projects: Would you like to help out with a grounds project but can't make it to monthly work sessions, or would rather do things on your own time? We have the answer for you! A number of projects, big and small, are begging to be done, and we have a long list for you to pick from.
You can do so much: Take responsibility for a project; be part of a project team; do a small ongoing job; do a one-time-only job; donate money for plants and materials; lend equipment for church use.
