Khalil Gibran writes about couples being comprised of two solitudes looking in the same direction – can we be that? Can you come alongside me or let me come along side you while we gaze, not into each other’s eyes, but outwards in the same direction? Can you trust that what I am saying about what I see there is true from where I stand? Will you trust me enough to share what you see from your vantage point? If we can be curious and trusting and listen to one another we might understand the world more deeply. After all, to see the world in three dimensions requires at least two points of view.
Sunday Services are 8:30 a.m. in the library and 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary unless otherwise noted. Nursery care, children’s and youth classes are concurrent with the 10:30 service.
