dramaTHE VP (vagina-penis) DIALOGUES is “Just Say NO!” Enough to Know? Welcome to a performance piece THE VP (vagina-penis) DIALOGUES. From the overture written by Santa Fe’s Alice Ladas, - co-author of The G Spot, the performance is both entertaining and educational, illustrating the universal questions about our two favorite anatomical parts. This piece is all about questions. Audience members are invited to write their own questions, which will be answered in the after-show talkback. What have you always wanted to ask and not had a safe place?

Online Adult Religious Education

The Church of The Larger Fellowship (CLF) is a Unitarian-Universalist church that serves its congregation all over the world by mail. Isolated persons and tiny congregations depend on CLF’s monthly bulletin to provide them with sermons, religious education for children, youth, and adults; spiritual commentary; and inspiration. It has recently begun to expand its on-line courses to anyone who is interested. Attendees range from complete newcomers to Unitarian Universalism who want to learn more about our faith to long time UU members who are hoping to deepen their spiritual and ethical lives. Thiere is no fee for the introductory courses "A Chosen Faith" and "The New UU." Other courses care a $40 fee. Scholarships are available and are administered by the Rev. Lynn Ungar, minister for lifespan learning.

Some on-line classes provide a structure in which teachers are able to post class materials and assignments on the website and students are able to post their responses, which the software then distributes to teachers and other participants. Though some classes may include on-line chats or larger audio files, most class work takes place in e-mail format. Generally classes do not require that participants acquire materials other than what is available on the Learning Center, although there are some exceptions, clearly noted in class descriptions.

The CLF Learning Center is the home page for the on-line adult religious education program. Enter the Online Learning Center will open the pages with all of the course lists. You will be asked to create an account the first time you attempt to read course descriptions. The account has no cost or commitment. You can then browse and register for classes.

Some of the many courses available include:

A Chosen Faith For stay-at-home members, new members, or friendly inquirers CLF is offering a free on-line course on the development of UU thought and practice which can be pursued at one's own pace.  It is called A Chosen Faith. There is no charge for the course, but a book is needed which can be purchased ($16) or possibly borrowed from the CLF Lending Library or checked out from the UUCSF library.
