As Valentine’s day approaches, we consider the matter of romantic and familial love and the irrelevance of gender in matters of the heart.

Following the second service there will be a Newcomer’s Orientation to UUCSF and an opportunity for interested folks to join the congregation.

As we welcome new members on this ingathering Sunday, we will use two different texts to examine this faith we share. The first is the UU primer, A Chosen Faith, the second a weighty conservative textbook published by Zondervan Press.

This Sunday launches our annual fund drive, and this year’s theme is Celebrate! Watch for testimonials from members of the congregation, win delicious prizes by turning your pledge form in to enter our Sunday raffles. And tune in for a series of sermons celebrating Unitarian Universalism – the first three will explore the old Unitarian watchwords Freedom, Reason and Tolerance.
