We are a busy place, interested in community rather than conversion. You don't need to join UU Santa Fe to enjoy our inspiring worship, make meaningful connections, experience classes and workshops or participate in justice-making initiatives. Introduce yourself and we will help you find the things that will make your heart sing.

At UU Santa Fe, worship is an experience we create together―not in adoration of a god―but rather a celebration of awe, wonder and the sacred. Our Sunday Gatherings are one of the ways we live into community, coming together to greet one another in person or online. We meet at 10:30 am each Sunday morning. Details on each week are found on our Gatherings page. We also offer an Early Bird Service, 2nd and 4th Sundays, 8:30 am, in-person.

Connection

There are more than 25 groups and 280 members and friends participating in our Community Life Groups and events—gathering variously onsite, online and hybrid.

FRIENDSHIP GROUPS

• Art on Barcelona meets as necessary.
• Informal coffee hour every Sunday after our gathering
• Different Drummers. 1st and 3rd Sundays, 1:30 pm Fellowship Hall. 
• Men's Odyssey. 1st Tuesday of every month, 7–8:30 pm in the library. This is an open friendship group for men.
• UU Women's Fellowship. 2nd Saturdays, 11 am

NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS

• Baca Street. 3rd Saturday, 11 am in-person. 
• Central Santa Fe. Meeting outdoors when activity and weather allows, dates vary each month, mostly weekends. 
• El Castillo. Residency, no regular meetings. 
• Eldorado. 3rd Saturday. 
• North Central Santa Fe. 3rd Thursday, 4 pm in-person as circumstances allow. 
• Park Plazas. 1st Saturday, 4 pm in-person. 
• Southside. 2nd or 3rd Saturday, in-person. 

SPIRITUALITY GROUPS

• Zia Spirituality. 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 6:30 pm MT online
• Covenant Groups. Soul Journeys is welcoming new members. Their meeting times are varied. Please contact the office for more information.

SUPPORT GROUPS

• Better Together, for those living along, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 1 pm in the Library
• Memory Café, every Friday, 2 pm in Fellowship Hall

ART ON BARCELONA

Art On Barcelona’s new exhibit, Road Trip, features a collection of impressionistic plein air paintings and expressive abstractions by UU Santa Fe member and artist Lisa Flynn.

Unitarian universalist Women's Fellowship (UUWF)

UUWF is a community of women seeking to enrich the lives of its participants as well as the lives of the women and children of Santa Fe through donations to local Santa Fe charities. UUWF activities are open to any woman in the community, and it’s not necessary to be member of UU Santa Fe to participate. For more information about UUWF and to receive our emails about upcoming events, email us at [email protected].

Men’s Odyssey (a Men’s Friendship Group)

An odyssey is a long wandering or voyage usually marked by many changes of fortune; an intellectual or spiritual quest. Open to any man in the community, Men’s Odyssey meets at 7 pm in the Library to discuss matters of mutual interest. In the fall there is a weekend retreat that participants have greatly enjoyed. The group considers service to UU Santa Fe to be an important part of its activities and has assisted at weddings and memorial services, as well as UU Santa Fe fundraisers. Below are initiatives and information regarding our justice activities.

Do you have an issue or concern that you would like to see UU Santa Fe form an advocacy group to address? To form a new group, you will need two co-facilitators and at least four additional team members. Contact Gale Wasserman to explore your idea.

Justice Workgroups | Open to All
Our Justice Workgroups are outward focused on serving the needs of the community of Santa Fe and the wider world. The Justice Council meets the seond Thursday of each month from 5:30 pm via Zoom.

August Giving | Esperanza Shelter. Since 1976, Esperanza Shelter has supported individuals and families impacted by domestic violence in Santa Fe County, the eight Northern Pueblos and the three Southern Pueblos.​

ADULT LIFELONG EXPLORATIONS

UU Santa Fe Explorations adult learning programs depend of volunteers. Do you have a burning topic related to personal growth, spiritual wonder, practical life experience, or other topics that you would like to explore? Others in our community might be willing to explore with you.

• ​Freethinker's Forum: A HUUmanist Discussion Group | 2nd Sundays, Noon MT | in-person and via Zoom. Find out more on the Santa Fe Freethinkers Meetup page. When you RSVP to attend, Meetup provides you the Zoom meeting sign-in information.
• Meditation Practice | Sundays, 3:30–5 pm | Fellowship Hall. Vipassana meditation, also known as Insight Meditation, is a Buddhist practice focused on cultivating present moment awareness and understanding the nature of reality through direct experience. Join us for our weekly practice.​​
• ​​Mindfulness Meditation Group | Mondays, 9:30 am MT | Library and hybrid via Zoom. Guided meditation for 30 minutes and discussion of a short reading. New participants welcome. If joining on Zoom, please email Kelly at [email protected]​ or Robert at [email protected] for sign-in information.​
• T’ai Chi Chih | Thursdays, 10–11 am | Fellowship Hall. Seated participant option available. Completing the T’ai Chi Chih Beginner Course before attending this weekly practice is recommended. Contact Jim Eagle or Greg Berg for more information.

Highlights from the July 23, 2026 meeting. The Board:

• Recognized new members Suzanne & Gil DePaul, who signed the membership book this last month.
• Thanked the Hot Dog Roast planning team for a great event; and Michael Morford for configuring the new Wally system in the Library.
• Received a financial update from VP for Finance John Lehman, who expects we will end the year with a $35,000 surplus.
• Approved the annual request of $60,000 for the Minister’s Housing Allowance, which is unchanged from last year.
• Approved a moratorium on new long-term building rentals, owingto our building use occupancy being nearly at maximum.
