Since 1976, Esperanza Shelter has supported individuals and families impacted by domestic violence in Santa Fe County, the eight Northern Pueblos and the three Southern Pueblos.
Esperanza Shelter serves all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexuality or immigration status. Their mission is to build a world where HOPE guides every effort, fostering support, self-determination, authenticity, commitment and compassion for those affected by domestic violence. |

JULY 2026 recipient:
The Minister’s Discretionary Account (also known as the minister’s emergency fund), is used to help folks deal with small emergencies—such as a late rent payment, utility bill, the cost of a prescription and the like. This is an off-budget account which is supported by direct gifts from the congregation.
