Many faiths ask "What do you believe in?" Unitarian Universalists ask, "How shall I live my life?" |
Welcome!
Welcome to UU Santa Fe, we’ve been watching for you! Seriously. We are an open-minded, open-hearted spiritual community seeking to bend the world toward justice, sustainability and love and we are always looking for friends and allies to join us on our adventure. We gather on Sunday mornings for many reasons:
If your heart yearns for a community where your unique identity will be welcomed and celebrated―we have opportunities for you to connect and belong. If your mind is hungry for insight and thoughtful conversations about big questions―we have groups where you can debate and discover and dig deep into the challenges of being alive. If your hands itch to help in some practical way―to pack lunches, plant trees, lobby legislators―but it feels overwhelming to try to change the world all by yourself―join us and together our efforts will be magnified. If your spirit craves silence and music and poetry and thoughtful engagement with big questions and perennial themes―come worship with us and together we will transform each other and the world... Come with open heart. Come with an open mind. Come with eyes and arms wide open. Come and bring all of your gifts and all of your history. Come discover your wholeness. Come engage the world. Come and together we will bless the world.―Rev. Gail Marriner |
To breathe deeply is a religious act; for in breathing, our individual spirit partakes of the Infinite Spirit.―Tom Owen-Towle, Theology Ablaze (2011) p. 58 (Unitarian Universalist, minister)
