At UU Santa Fe, we create conditions that lead you to a life of balance, wholeness and fulfillment. To make this balance possible for you, we offer interwoven experiences of meaningful worship, opportunities for deep connection with others, service to the wider world and spiritual practice and study based on the world's great religions and wisdom traditions. ​We welcome all to our community without regard to theology, race, class identity, cultural background or sexual orientation. Wherever you find yourself in your life, we invite you to join us in nurturing your spirit and blessing our world. First off, you will notice a surprising lack of hustle to try and compel you to membership―we recognize this is your decision. Take your time. So, what's next?
  • Make your first stop our Virtual Welcome Table. Tell us a little about yourself and we will be in touch and explore your interests.
  • If you are interested in joining right away, we'll send you a Membership Packet for your review. You may also complete these forms online.
  • Attend a newcomers event―Inviting U In―held periodically throughout the year. These casual events allow you to get to know others in our community and offer an opportunity to explore the many ways you can connect and participate at UU Santa Fe. 
  • Participate in Starting Point, an introduction to UU Santa Fe and getting connected here. Starting Point is offered twice a year.
  • Meet with our Minister for a more in-depth exploration of your hopes of a deeper relationship with our community.
  • Sign "The Book" in the presence of the Minister or a Board of Trustees member, turn in your membership packet information and complete a pledge form―with or without a financial commitment. Several times throughout the year we formally recognize new members during our Sunday gathering.
  • Support UU Santa Fe as you are able with your time, talent and treasure. Your 'time' is "showing up." Your 'talent' is offering your energy and creative abilities, which we most gratefully accept. Your 'treasure' is that amount of money that you and your family can freely pledge or donate.
  • Unitarian Universalist congregations are independent and self-sustaining by their members. Through your pledge, donations and gifts you become an Active Member with all privileges of membership including voting in congregational meetings and serving in positions of elected leadership.
